This is an original painting by the late Les Matthews. The medium is oil, acrylic and ink on board and it is unframed. This painting is avaialble for sale for the first time.
Living in Clevedon, Les was known world-wide for his cityscape paintings, with a career that spanned decades. His time spent as an Art Teacher at Churchill School inpsired many young students to pick up a paint brush, encouraged by his enthusiasm and belief that anyone can draw or paint.
FIZZ Gallery had the priviledge of representing Les for many years, holding a number of sell out exhibitions. Les Matthews’ work remains in many private and corporate collections around the world.

Sale items are non-returnable or refundable – except where your statutory rights apply.
There are a number of delivery options available for artworks in our sale, when shipped to England, Wales and mainland Scotland. Shipping outside of these areas is available by request and will be quoted individually.
Appropriate delivery options for your purchase will be displayed at checkout and will include:
- Free collection from the gallery (available on all pieces, and during our normal opening hours)
- £20 shipping for smaller or light weight pieces
- £40 shipping for larger or heavier pieces
- A delivery quote for oversized and very fragile pieces, or to addresses outside of England, Wales and mainland Scotland.
Please note delivery by courier does not include additional insurance, so collection may be preferable for valuable or fragile items.

Our aim is always to provide the best delivery option to keep your purchase safe, but sometimes we need to work with specialist couriers to make sure this happens. When this is the case, we’ll discuss this with you and provide the best quote possible.
